Now you can attach documents and add notes to projects. Save time and avoid confusion by creating a single project area out of multiple, non-adjacent parcels with the click of a button.

• Multiple Parcels to One Project
  • Conduct a search from any of CityGIS’s™ search forms that generates multiple results.
  • Edit your results list to include only those parcels you want included in your project area.
  • Click on “Create Project” from the list of tools below the Results List.
  • The project area is automatically drawn and the Project information form appears. Fill out the relevant project information and click “Save.”
  
  

• Attaching Documents to Projects
  • Click on any previously created project. The Project Information form appears. Click “Save” at the bottom of the form.
  • Click on “Attach Document” from the list of tools below the project information box.
  • The “Attach Document” dialog box appears. Type a title/description for your document. Click “Browse” to locate the file. Once you’ve found the file you’d like to attach, click “Open” and then click “Submit.”
    
    

• Adding Notes to Projects
  • Click on any previously created project. The Project Information form appears. Click “Save” at the bottom of the form.
  • Click on “Add New Note” from the list of tools below the project information box.
  • The “Add Note” dialog box appears. Enter all relevant information and click “Save.”
  • If you entered a reminder date, you will have the option to add this reminder to your Outlook calendar. Click “Open” to add a reminder to your Outlook, click “Cancel” to not add the reminder.
  • You can search for Project Notes via the Advanced Search form on the Menu tab of the Ledger.
    • From the “Layer” pick-list, select “ThemeActive Project Notes” and build your search as you would any other advanced search.
