The latest version of DMP's Data Loader is now available and continues to give you a quick and easy way to import and thematically map outside data sets in LandVision ™. User interface enhancements have been made to give you more insight and control over your layers by allowing you to see the loading status and by allowing you to load multiple layers through the same loader instance. Also new to Data Loader is the ability to manage your layers within an intuitive folder structure, while giving you the ability to delete unwanted layers.

Plus, the new version of Data Loader now allows you to upload larger files letting you fully leverage more of your organizations location-based data in your LandVision ™ account.

In order to reap the benefits of these enhancements, you must install Microsoft Silverlight, an advanced browser plug-in. Instructions on how to get Silverlight can be found below. NOTE: In the event you do not download Microsoft Silverlight, you will not see the Data Loader enhancements, however you will still be able to use Data Loader in its current state.

  • Upload your Layers with the Enhanced Loading Interface
    • Data Loader's enhanced interface allows you to see the status of the file you are loading giving key insight to the stage of the loading task.
    • Run multiple loading tasks within the same instance of Data Loader with the ability to remove past jobs that have loaded successfully.
  • Manage Your Layers with the Enhanced Management Interface
    • Manage and organize your loaded layers with greater efficiency using collapsible folders.
    • Delete unwanted or out-of-date layers with a few simple clicks to keep your list organized and relevant.
  • Load Larger Files
    • Data Loader now allows you to load larger files, further enabling you to leverage the benefits of spatially enabling even more of your data.
