ADD, EDIT & DELETE DOCUMENT ATTACHMENTS

GovClarity® users can attach documents and files to a parcel and easily access the attachments from the parcel detail information balloon. For maintenance of the attached documents, users can access the attachments from the Parcel Detail balloon to Edit, and Delete attachments in the future. Attached documents are available for all users to view in the account - any user in the account can add, and delete documents.

Notes:
  • The size limit of an attached document is 4MB.
  • Documents that contain special characters in the file name are not supported, such as:

    • < (less than)
    • < (greater than)
    • : (colon)
    • " (double quote)
    • / (forward slash)
    • \ (backslash)
    • | (vertical bar or pipe)
    • ? (question mark)
    • * (asterisk)
    • . (period)

Add an Attachment to a Parcel


Click the parcel to open the Location Information Panel. Select the Shared Documents card. Click the Manage Documents link to launch the window to upload your document.
Note: The Shared Documents can be viewed by everyone at your organization with a GovClarity login.

Select Add in the Attachments window.
Click Browse and select the file you would like to attach and select Open.
Add a Description and select OK.
A notification displays in the upper right corner of the application when the upload process completes.

Attached documents display in the Attachments window. You can now choose to either Add another document associated with that parcel, or Close the window.

View an Attachment from a Parcel


To view a document, Click the parcel that has the document you would like to view. The Location Information Panel opens. Scroll down on the panel, and open the Shared Documents card. Next, click the Manage Documents hyperlink; a window will open where you can view uploaded documents. Manage Documents in GovClarity
The Attachments window will appear displaying the Attachments associated with the parcel. Select the file you would like to view. The file will automatically download to the location based on your computer's settings.

Delete an Attachment from a Parcel



To delete an attachment, click the Parcel to launch the Location Information Panel. Next, click Manage Documents, under the Shared Documents card. Manage Documents in GovClarity
The Attachments window will display the documents associated with the parcel. Locate the file that you wish to delete. Click the Trash Bin icon Document Trash Bin-Delete Icon to delete.
