Measuring map features got even easier with the Quick Measure tool on the main toolbar. And the new Freehand Drawing tool lets you achieve greater precision when drawing polygons.

Keep reading to learn more about these great new features and how they will streamline your use of GovClarity®.

Simplified Search

The new search forms in GovClarity® provide a powerful way to easily constrain or limit your search to a specific area using pre-defined options.

Users can select from four options to constrain searches to: city boundary, a selected feature (e.g. drawn area on the map), or the current map view, or to apply the search as a filter. There's also an option to apply a buffer to any of the location constraints above. This new search form puts all the search options at your fingertips.

Another time saver is that search results now automatically open in the results list below the map.

You'll also notice in the Fall 2013 release that the Property Filter no longer appears above the map by default. To run a filter, go to the Search icon on the Main Toolbar and select a search form from the pick list, and then select the 'Apply as View Filter' radio button.

Usability Enhancements

Measuring has never been faster or easier with our new Quick Measure tool found on the Main Toolbar. Use it to measure polygons, lines, or circles in a single click.

Another usability enhancement our deeper imagery zoom allows you to get up close and personal with the aerial imagery in GovClarity®. A popular user request, you can now zoom closer on both standard and custom imagery.
