Digital Map Products is excited to announce the Winter 2016 release of LandVision. This latest version includes usability enhancements as well as fixes to some of your favorite features and is the result of your valuable user feedback.

The highlight of our Winter Release is Quick PDF, which generates a PDF of your current map view with just two clicks, similar to our old Print capability. Also in this release are updates to our popular View in Google Earth™ feature to ensure it continues working as browsers deprecate support for the Google Earth plug-in. Last, but not least, we've been hard at work on many of the bugs you've reported and are excited to report that both Trade Area Analysis and LandVision Connect are working better than ever as a result of some of these fixes.

Quick PDF

We've made it easy to generate PDFs in LandVision without having to worry about your browser or computer settings. Just like our old Print, all it takes is two simple clicks to get your current map view as a PDF, complete with aerial imagery, your drawings and custom layers, standard map data layers, and more.

You'll find the new Quick PDF exporting options under Export Image from the Main Toolbar. There are several size and orientation options.

Enhanced Google Earth View

Browsers are deprecating support for the Google Earth plugin, but fear not! We've enhanced our popular View in Google Earth feature, enabling you not only to continue to access LandVision properties in Google Earth, but also to leverage the full program features of Google Earth and Google Earth Pro.

To use the enhanced capability, simply right click a parcel and select "View in Google Earth". A KML file will download to your computer and opening that file will launch Google Earth or Google Earth Pro and take you directly to that location.

Significant Bug Fixes for Trade Area Analysis, Print and LandVision Connect

Our Winter release includes some important usability and compatibility fixes for Trade Area Analysis* and our LandVision Connect* mobile app, which are now working better than ever. It also addresses some issues when Printing in certain browser versions.

* Trade Area Analysis is available in LandVision Commercial and Builder editions and LandVision Connect is available for LandVision Commercial users.
